The selective laser sintering or melting (by means of a 200-400 W laser beam) of a metallic powder bed at controlled granulometry allows the production of metal prototypes.
Layer by layer it is possible to produce, thanks to Additive Manufacturing, any shape or geometry, even those that are impossible to achieve with traditional technologies (casting, CNC machining, etc) with an accuracy up to ± 0.05/0.10mm. A variety of metal alloys is available for 3d printing.
